Wedding photography for people who want a brilliant day, not a staged photoshoot

Let’s talk about choosing
your photographer
You want photos that look incredible, feel like your day, and don’t require you to spend hours being posed like you’re on a magazine shoot.
That’s where I come in.
I’m Becky, a Dorset wedding photographer for couples who want a day that feels good, runs well, and still looks brilliant in the photos afterwards. I’m calm when things get hectic, clear when people need wrangling, and experienced enough to know when to step in and when to leave things alone.
No stiff posing. No cringe (unless we’re going for awkward 90s style photos!) No making your wedding feel like a production.
Just honest photography and someone you can trust to get the job done properly.

What an AWSOME person
“Guests commented all day and even now months on, about how lovely she was and it was like having another guest because Becky fit in so well.
Come the evening we can say we had a great time, but we didn’t notice Becky once, (in the nicest, positive way) there was no camera in your face, no breaking a moment, just capturing it for us to share.“

Need something different?
Not every wedding needs full-day coverage.
If you’re planning something shorter, later in the day, more relaxed, or just not very traditional, I also offer micro wedding and hourly coverage from 2 hours upwards.
If the packages above do not quite fit, get in touch and I’ll put something together that makes sense for your day. Or visit my micro weddings page for more details.

What you can expect
Booking a wedding photographer is not just about the final gallery. It’s about having someone there who can handle the day properly.
I help tell the story of your wedding, without watching the clock or rushing moments that deserve space.
When you book me, you’re getting:
- A photographer with experience with weddings, events, people, and all the moving parts
- Help planning your timeline if you need it
- Support with group photo lists and the practical stuff
- Relaxed portraits with enough direction to help and still feel natural
- Honest coverage of the full vibe of the day, not just the obvious bits
- Someone who knows how to work with people, not just point a camera at them
- A final gallery that feels like you, your people, and the day as it actually was
The experience — step by step…
1. Send your enquiry
Fill out the form and tell me what you’re planning. We’ll schedule a chat, in person over coffee or on Zoom.
2. We have a chat
We’ll talk through your day, what matters to you, and whether I’m the right fit.
3. You secure your booking!
If you’re happy and we vibe… it’s time to book! I’ll send over a contract, questionnaire and invoice. Once you’ve paid your 25% booking fee, your date is secured in my diary.
3: Planning
You can contact me any time for advice. If you have a pre-wedding shoot, we’ll get that scheduled in.
8 weeks before your special day you’ll receive your update questionnaire – this will go through EVERYTHING thats happening, timings, group photos, any special details.
4: More coffee required… (8-2 weeks before)
We’ll meet up or hop on a call to finalise all the details. To make sure I have the correct group photos, I know who’s who and what’s when.
That way you don’t have to think about anything on the day!
5: You’re getting married!
You get married. I handle the photos without making the day weird.
But don’t worry I’ll keep things flowing without being bossy. Help when you need it, disappear when you don’t!
Handle family dynamics with diplomacy. Watch for moments you don’t even see!
6: Sneak peeks (1 week after)
Within a week of your wedding, when the quiet settles in and the hustle and bustle is over, you’ll recieve a small preview gallery of your day. This giveds you some high quality images to share with friends and family.
They’re also perfect for personalised thnk you cards.
7: Gallery time! (6-8 weeks after)
Gallery Time! You’ll receive your online gallery, no hidden costs, no extra charges for downloads – you can share it with everyone you love.
This is usually between 6-8 weeks after your day (depending on the time year – summer gets BUSY!).
Best photographer ever
“Becky was absolutely incredible for our London wedding last month. From the very get-go, taking so much care over the details and preparations
We are totally thrilled with the amazing photos she took, including lots of wonderful candid moments that we would have otherwise missed. Couldn’t recommend Becky more.“
