Let me tell you a secret... that some people might find offensive...

You can do whatever the F**k you want on your wedding day.

🫶🏻 It can be as big or small as YOU want.
🥂 It can be wherever YOU want to celebrate.
✨ You can wear whatever YOU want.
🍔 You can have whatever food YOU want.

Your day, your rules (and probably your money too 🤣).

Do we need to have lots of group photos...Short answer? Nope!

A handful of meaningful group photos is often plenty, I try to stick to a maximum of 12. The rest of the time is better spent actually being with your guests, having conversations and enjoying the day you’ve planned.

A calm, realistic plan keeps things moving without turning your wedding into a checklist. However.. I will have a checklist! Before your day I'll send you an in-depth questionnaire to make sure any group photos are covered and I can get them done as quickly and painlessly as possible, while ensuring the important people are photographed... so you can enjoy with your day and enjoy your time with your friends and family.

Planning a wedding is a lot, especially if you’re doing it alongside juggling a normal life.

Delegating doesn’t mean losing control. It means protecting your energy. Small tasks passed on can free up a surprising amount of headspace.

Whether it’s friends, family or professionals, letting others support you often makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
You don’t have to carry it all yourselves.

You can even ask your hired pros for help! We love sharing our favourite tips, tricks and fellow suppliers if you need - just ask!

I say this with love and experience. (As someone who is RUBBISH at remembering to hydrate and fuel up).

Wedding days run on adrenaline, nerves and excitement. They run much better with food involved. Even something small helps. Especially if you’re someone who forgets to eat when you’re nervous (hello, most people - I’m absolutely guilty of this!!).

Future you will be very grateful you did not attempt to survive on vibes alone.

Getting ready doesn’t have to feel frantic to be realistic.
A calm morning often leads to a calmer day. Fewer people in the room, realistic timings and knowing where things are can make a huge difference.

If someone brings stress with them, it’s okay not to invite that energy in. But I do find most of my couples have found THEIR people. The spicy, the strange, the ride or dies and the weirdos 🖤

This isn’t the time for emotional chaos gremlins.

Your morning should feel like a deep breath, not a fire drill.

Pretty much every couple I work with tells me the same thing:
“We’re awkward in front of the camera.” ... “We hate having our photo taken.”

Honestly? Me too!

My job is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and like yourself — so you can focus on enjoying your day, not worrying about what you look like.

You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to be confident in front of the camera (sometimes you do just have to fake it, or embrace how ridiculous it is!). You don't need to be any different than the fabulous humans you already are.

I’ll gently guide you when needed, disappear when you don’t, and step in with calm, confident direction when things get a bit chaotic (because they always do).

Your day should be all about marrying your favourite person… while I take care of the rest.

I bloody LOVE a Micro Wedding!

They've definitely increased in popularity since 2020. In fact, 50% of my own couples weddings last year were micros, ranging from 2-5 hours. They were, small, intimate and a lot of fun - you can definitely tell the couples had chosen their circles well!

We've all seen or heard about wedding guest counts (and price tags!) getting out of hand when planning. This is can be due to family or social media pressure. At some point, a lot of my couples have started to feel like it’s not even their wedding any longer. That they’re along for the ride.

You don't need an excuse to have the wedding YOU actually want. You have full control over the guest list. You get to invite the most important people in your life to be there, and you actually have time to be with them.

Have you considered a smaller event, but worried you won't get the coverage of a full day. My approach and work is exactly the same... The same care and attention - always.
